CRITERIA FOR GIVING
MISSION STATEMENT:
NACRNA-PAC is a state registered political action committee that represents the interests of member certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) and the patients we serve. NACRNA-PAC works to build the political clout of our professional and industry needs with the New York State Executive and members of the State Legislature and to assist in the election of those who support our issues.
NACRNA-PAC supports candidates who understand and share our views on the challenges and concerns that affect our profession.
NACRNA-PAC helps grow our professions visibility in Albany. NACRNA-PAC contributions serve as a constant reminder to lawmakers that CRNAs are both politically aware and an actively involved constituency in New York State politics.
NACRNA-PAC: CRITERIA FOR GIVINGNACRNA-PAC will help build strong working relationships with lawmakers and elected officials, regardless of political affiliation, and support those who: •participate at a political level where issues concerning the policy and direction of our profession and industry are decided; •understand and share our views on the challenges and concerns facing our profession; and•are willing to work with us in advancing the profession of nurse anesthesia and ensuring patients have access to high quality, affordable anesthesia care.NACRNA-PAC will help ensure that CRNAs voices will be heard at crucial moments in future debate affecting our profession. NACRNA-PAC will help increase our level of political involvement and cultivate allies in legislative leadership, in the committees that have jurisdiction over issues impacting our profession, and among rank-and-file lawmakers.NACRNA-PAC contributions shall never be used to influence, attempt to influence nor reward any public official with respect to their official conduct, duties, required action, official vote, opinion or judgment.

The Nurse Anesthesia CRNA PAC (NACRNA-PAC) is the Political Action Committee (PAC) for the New York State Association of Nurse Anesthetists (NYSANA). The NACRNA-PAC is a non-partisan committee comprised of CRNAs from the NYSANA Board of Directors and the NYSANA membership at large. While the NACRNA-PAC represents the interests of all New York State CRNAs and SRNAs regarding state based issues, its funds and decision making are entirely separate from NYSANA.
All NACRNA-PAC funding is direct donation from NYSANA members and friends. Keeping NYSANA strong in Albany takes the financial support of its members. Please consider donating today!
